BabyApp Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
App: BabyApp ยท Publisher brand: APHEXON
Privacy contact: hello@aphexon.com
BabyApp is a baby-care tracking application published under the APHEXON brand. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, disclosed and deleted when parents or caregivers use BabyApp. It applies to BabyApp and its associated account-support and deletion services, not to every APHEXON product or website.
BabyApp is intended for parents and caregivers, rather than independent use by babies or young children. A parent or caregiver may choose to record information about a child. We recognise that this information merits particular care.
1. Information we handle
Depending on the features you use and the app version, information may include:
- Account and authentication information: your email address, account identifier and information needed to sign in using a one-time password (OTP).
- Baby and caregiver information: names or nicknames, dates of birth, profile information and caregiver access settings you enter.
- Baby-care records: feeding and pumping entries, sleep and diaper records, growth measurements, milestones, vaccination records, health notes (such as medication, symptoms or doctor visits), and other notes and history you choose to save.
- Photos and memories: photographs or other content you upload if these features are available and you use them.
- Shared-care information: invitations, access settings and information visible to other caregivers you authorise if sharing is available and enabled.
- Technical and device information: app and device information, IP address, diagnostics, security events and identifiers used to operate, protect or troubleshoot the service. Exact categories depend on the release and included SDKs.
- Advertising information: where ads are enabled, Google AdMob may process device identifiers (including the Android Advertising ID when available), IP address, ad interactions and diagnostic information, subject to configuration and applicable choices.
- Purchase information: if paid features are offered, entitlement or subscription status and transaction references may be processed. Google Play generally handles payment details for purchases through Google Play.
Some information recorded in BabyApp โ including feeding records, sleep records, growth measurements such as height and weight, vaccination records and health notes such as medication, symptoms or doctor visits โ may be considered health-related or sensitive information. BabyApp processes this information only to provide the baby-care tracking features selected by the parent or caregiver. BabyApp does not use this information to provide medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations or clinical decision-making.
Please avoid entering information unrelated to caring for your child, particularly sensitive medical details that a feature does not require.
2. How we use information
We use information as relevant to your use of BabyApp to:
- Create and authenticate accounts and secure access.
- Save and synchronise baby-care records you choose to create.
- Display records and timelines and support optional caregiver sharing where enabled.
- Respond to questions, investigate problems, maintain reliability and prevent abuse.
- Enable paid features and manage entitlements where offered.
- Display and measure advertising through AdMob where ads are enabled, subject to applicable consent and settings.
- Fulfil deletion requests and applicable legal obligations.
We do not use a baby's care records to make clinical diagnoses or replace professional medical advice.
3. Services that process information
Relevant service providers may include:
- Supabase: authentication and storage of account information and BabyApp records; Supabase Storage if photographs or files are uploaded.
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK: advertising delivery, measurement and fraud prevention when ads are enabled.
- Google Play: app distribution and payment or subscription management where relevant.
We may update this policy if we introduce additional service providers that process personal information. Service providers may process information under their own applicable privacy policies and our service arrangements. Use of a third-party SDK may constitute data sharing under applicable privacy and platform disclosure requirements.
4. Caregiver sharing and children's information
BabyApp is intended for parents and authorised caregivers. If caregiver sharing is available and enabled, records associated with a baby profile may be visible to caregivers to whom access has been granted. Only invite people you trust and review access when circumstances change. We do not intend BabyApp accounts to be created or used independently by children.
5. Advertising and choices
An ad-supported version of BabyApp may show advertisements served by Google AdMob. Advertising technology may process device identifiers and ad interactions for delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Where required, the app will present privacy choices or request consent. Advertising settings may also be available through your device and Google services. If an ad-free paid tier is offered, its terms will be shown before purchase.
6. Storage, security and international processing
BabyApp uses access controls and transport encryption to protect information sent between the app and its services. No network or storage system is completely secure. Service providers may process data outside your country of residence, subject to their configurations and applicable protections. We limit access to information to the purposes described in this policy.
7. How long we keep information
We retain account information and baby-care records while your BabyApp account remains active or until you delete the relevant information or request deletion of your account.
When an account-deletion request is completed, BabyApp deletes the account and associated information from active systems, including relevant authentication records, baby profiles, care records and uploaded files controlled by that account, subject to limited exceptions required or permitted by law.
Backup and technical copies may remain temporarily until they are automatically deleted or overwritten according to our normal backup lifecycle. Deleted information is not restored to active use except where required for disaster recovery, security or legal compliance.
Certain limited records may be retained where necessary for legal, billing, security or fraud-prevention purposes. These records are removed when the applicable retention requirement or legitimate purpose ends.
Google Play may retain purchase or subscription records separately under Google's own policies and applicable law.
For questions about retention or deletion, contact hello@aphexon.com.
8. Your choices and rights
You can review and update information in the app where supported. You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting hello@aphexon.com. We may need to verify account ownership before disclosing or deleting private records. Depending on applicable law, additional rights and exceptions may apply.
9. Account and data deletion
If an account-deletion option is available in your BabyApp version, use it in account settings. If you cannot access the app, visit the public Delete your BabyApp account page. You do not need to reinstall BabyApp to request deletion.
After verification, the request covers the account and associated records in active BabyApp systems, including relevant authentication records, baby profiles, care entries and uploaded files controlled by the account, subject to disclosed retention exceptions and any independently owned shared-care data. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete the account.
If you subscribed through Google Play, deleting your BabyApp account does not necessarily cancel the Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play to stop future renewals.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when BabyApp, service providers or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide further notice where appropriate.
